Death Becomes Her (1992)— this darkly comedic tale follows two rivals who discover a potion that grants eternal youth. With its clever satire on vanity and obsession, Death Becomes Her balances humor and horror in a truly unique way.
Shaun od the Dead (2004)— This is more comedic than spooky, but it deserves a mention. This movie follows a comedic twist on the zombie apocalypse which sees an underachieving man trying to win back his girlfriend amidst a zombie outbreak. Along with his hapless friends, he devises a plan to survive the chaos while navigating the hilarity of everyday life.
Coco (2017)— Oh, this little precious gem is something magical and you cannot say otherwise. And if you haven't seen it yet, well, you'd better catch up on it as soon as possible! Coco is a heartwarming celebration of family, culture, and the spirit of Día de los Muertos. With its vibrant visuals and touching story about honoring loved ones, this film perfectly captures the essence of remembrance and connection.

TV Series 📺 🎃
It’s time for my personal spooky tv series recommendations. Here are my top picks that will keep you entertained and in the Halloween mood!
The Hunting of Hill House— I’ve watched this series last year and it's literally one of the TV series I've enjoyed watching the most in recent years! A modern reimagining of Shirley Jackson's classic novel, this series weaves between the past and present as a family confronts haunting memories of their old home. If you liked this one, you better read the book it’s based on too.
The Hunting of Bly Manor— It's another series produced by the same creator, which I find brilliant! This follow-up to Hill House tells a poignant love story wrapped in ghostly tales, set against the backdrop of a beautifully eerie estate.
American Horror Story— I think you all know this TV series, which has now become part of popular culture. This one si particular because each season of this anthology series presents a new horror tale, exploring various themes like haunted houses, witchcraft, and freak shows. Its unique storytelling and eclectic characters ensure there’s something for everyone in the Halloween spirit.
Penny Dreadful— For lovers of classic horror and thrillers.. This dark and atmospheric series brings together iconic literary characters like Dracula, Frankenstein, and Dorian Gray in a hauntingly beautiful narrative.
From— I recently started this TV series, and I'm already loving it; its atmosphere is perfect for this time of year. Set in a mysterious town where residents face terrifying supernatural forces, this tv series is a gripping blend of horror and suspense.
Twin Peaks— a classic one. This cult classic combines mystery, supernatural elements, and a touch of the surreal, as an investigation unfolds in a small town after a young girl's murder. Its eerie vibe and memorable characters make it a fascinating series to binge.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina— A series I could watch over and over again. This darker adaptation of the beloved character blends horror with coming-of-age themes as Sabrina grapples with her dual nature.
Charmed— With its blend of sisterly bonds, magical adventures, and supernatural battles, this tv series is a nostalgic favorite that offers a cozy escape into a world of spells and enchantment, making it perfect for the spooky season.
Storm of the Century— written by Sthephen King, this miniseries follows a small town facing a supernatural storm and an enigmatic stranger with sinister motives.
The Fall of the House of Usher— Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's works, this series explores themes of madness, family, and tragedy.
That’s all for today! This was my personal spooky guide to help you embracing this time of the year.
As we embrace the cozy vibes of the spooky season, I hope this list inspires you to snuggle up with some thrilling films and captivating series.
