Waking up to that crisp autumn air is probably one of the simplest things that makes me feel completely at peace. I look forward to autumn every single year—it’s, hands down, the best season if you ask me. I’m definitely a “fall girl,” and honestly, it shows in so many little ways. One of the biggest? The pure joy I get from watching the trees turn golden and orange, baking cinnamon treats, and surrounding myself with all the cozy reds and browns.

And to really get into the autumn vibe, I’ve been pulling out my go-to fall routine for years now. It’s my little ritual to slowly ease into that cozy, sweater-and-candle mood—both in body and mind. Today, I thought we could chat about routines, share some practical tips, journal prompts, media to enjoy, and a bunch of other little things that just make this season feel extra special. Let’s dive in!
